Why I Do What I Do
I started Dyson Contracting because I believe people deserve a contractor they can trust. Someone who shows up when they say they will, communicates honestly about what things cost and how long they take, and cares about the outcome as much as the homeowner does. That sounds simple, but it is surprisingly hard to find.
I have worked on everything from full kitchen and bathroom gut-and-rebuilds to single-room refreshes. What I learned is that the difference between a renovation you love and one you regret almost always comes down to the way its managed. The materials matter, the design matters, but the care and attention behind the work is what makes it last.
Dyson Contracting is a proudly LGBTQ+-owned business based in Huntsville, Ontario. We serve homeowners across the Muskoka region, from Bracebridge to North Bay and everywhere in between. Every client gets the same thing: honest communication, quality craftsmanship, and a clean job site.
I am personally involved in every project. I do the estimates, I manage the work, and I make sure it is done right. When you hire Dyson Contracting, you are working with me directly.

How We Work
We keep things straightforward. You reach out through the contact form or give us a call. We schedule an on-site visit to understand the scope, take measurements, and talk through your goals. Then we put together a detailed estimate with clear pricing and realistic timelines.
A 50% deposit (including HST) is due at estimate signing. We order materials, schedule the work, and keep you informed throughout the project. Your job site is left clean and safe at the end of every work day.
If anything comes up during the project that changes the scope or cost, we talk to you about it before proceeding. No surprises. That is how it should work, and that is how we operate.
