How to Choose Your Cabinets
Cabinets are the single biggest investment in a kitchen renovation and they set the tone for the entire space. The right choice depends on your style preferences, how you use your kitchen, and your budget.
We start by understanding your layout and what matters most to you. Then we walk through door styles, wood species, colour and finish options, and construction quality at each price point. You will see real samples and understand exactly what you are getting.
Every brand we work with uses quality hardware and construction. The differences come down to the level of customization, finish options, and manufacturing process. Here is what to consider:
- Door Style - Shaker, raised panel, slab, or custom profiles
- Wood Species - Birch, maple, cherry, bamboo, or painted MDF doors on plywood boxes
- Finish - Stained, painted, lacquered, or thermofoil
- Construction Grade - Stock, semi-custom, or fully custom builds
Construction Quality
Our cabinet boxes are 5/8" AA grade plywood with all metal hardware. Face frames, doors, and drawer fronts are made from 3/4" solid birch and come in a range of styles and colours.
All doors feature soft close hinges. Drawers feature soft close slides and dovetail construction. No plastic, no MDF boxes.
